Chocolate cookies with rye bread dough

This is a super easy sweet treat delight your dear ones will love and will ask you for more, of course, especially on this holyday season! You need 100 grams of good quality dark chocolate to melt it into a glass bowl over a pot with boiling water, taking care that your bowl not touch the hot water.

Mix 100 grams of rye bread with two eggs and 50 grams of sugar, until you get the consistency of a light dough. Mix 100 grams of unsalted butter with the melted chocolate and add it into the rye dough. The new mixture will be poured in small blobs on an oven tray covered with baking paper. You do not have to keep the cookies too much into the oven because they need to be gluey on the inside and crispy on the outside. They are simply delicious and you can ask your kids or grandkids to enjoy you in the kitchen and teach them their first baking lesson, it would be delightful!

For an extra chocolate touch of yumminess and also for a nice and shinny effect, you can add my chocolate frost. You only have to chop one tablet of chocolate and put it into a pot together with 50 grams of butter, pour 300 ml of double cream previously heated into another pot with two tablespoons of golden syrup, optional. Mix until the chocolate completely melts. This frost looks shinny and tastes delicious thanks to the butter.
