Beef with smoked paprika sauce

This is one of my favorite meat recipes, because you can… reinvent it in so many ways. You can use any type of meat you like, fish included, and you can eat it with bread, but also with rice, mashed potatoes, or any pasta you like. Also, you can have it hot, if kids are not around, or you can enjoy it nice and sweet, it`s all up to you and your dear ones!

Start with two chopped onions, fry them slowly in vegetable oil with a pinch of salt to help the onion release its juice, add four tablespoons of smoked paprika, sweet or hot, mix well and add two cups of meat soup or simply water. Let it boil a little and add small cubes of beef meat. Cover the pot with a lid and let the meal boil until the beef is very tender.

Mix one cup of heavy cream with one tablespoon of flour and add it into the meal, mixing a little to incorporate, add salt and give the meal a last boil. When you eat it, you should add some extra heavy cream. You can eat it like this, with some bread, or you can try some polenta, mashed potatoes or any pasta you like. It’s simply delicious thanks to the smoked paprika and the heavy cream combination.
