Recycle the old cork kitchen pads
This is my first time working with cork and watercolors, but I started with the idea of recycling the old kitchen pads instead of throwing away. And it worked pretty good!
These two little babies are my Autumn Heart, with that pumpkin orange… frame, and Summer Heart. You don’t have to reproduce them, just play with colors and see where you get to. The new painted pads could easily hang on your summer kitchen walls or anywhere you like, these would be your first paintings after all!
You can also attach small pieces of Velcro on the new painted pad and also on some small balls like the ping-pong ones, and take everything to the next level of fun for your kids: Ball Darts! This is also a creative way to spend quality time with your kids and paint them together! Come on, get busy in a funny way!
